Installation on infinityfree
First step is sign up in infinityfree.net . When you have an account you'll see your empty accounts page, so then create an account:
Once we click on Create Account button we've to choose the subdomain and domain extension. Use your name and surname for subdomain and infinityfreeapp.com as a domain extension. For example my link would be vicenteforner.infinityfreeapp.com
Remember the password you set up on configuration for next uses.
When the account has been created, we click on Manage to check all the details: accound, ftp and sql.
After that, we are ready to create a Wordpress server inside our account. So let's go to Control Panel and find out Softaculous Apps Installer in Software category. Inside of this option there are Wordpress, Joomla and others, and then click on Wordpress to process the installation. The set up is the next one:
Installation URL: only use http and www
Site Name: use your name
Site Description: Blog about my studies (or similar)
Admin username: your name and the initial of your surname (vicentf would be for me)
Admin password: try to use the same you used for the infinity account
Admin email: use your school mail
Language: English
Theme: select a theme you like it
After the set up, click on Install and wait. Then you're ready to search your web address on the browser. My web is this:
